Preamble
It is stated in the preamble of CSSWA that “we the students of Chitral are going to organize an association for the welfare of Chitrali students and peoples in the field of education and social sector”. So it is well defined purpose of the association, but to make it more specialized there are some sections to define its mission, vision, purpose etc. Here I will discuss some articles of the constitution related to the main objectives of the association.
Vision
The vision of the association in its constitution is stated as “The association strives to unite, develop and empower all people in CSSWA field into an association that will provide dynamic leadership and that will transform, develop and support educational services for all the students of Chitral”. (Article-II). Our vision is to make education available for all Chitrali students in every cost either they are living in Karachi or elsewhere in the World.
Mission
Our mission is also appreciable for all people who are aware of education. It is stated in article-III, that “The association advocates and supports the provision of efficient and excellent educational services and aspires to provide all communities in Chitral with equitable access to education. To this end the association represents the interests of, and seeks to promote the welfare development of education”. In this article it is said that education for all, it should be our duty to make education for all and for the students of every community living in Chitral. Here I want the concentration of the reader to focus on this article because it is the first association which is made by the Chitrali students to discard the concept of racialism, nepotism, regionalism etc. and to make an educational environment in Chitral, free from all the above said evils.
Purpose
Now I want to discuss some points which are stated in our constitution as the purpose of the constitution. In article-IV following points are stated.
“In fulfilling its mission and vision the purpose of the association are to:
i. Provide and promote good examples of educational and social
development to the students and people of Chitral.
ii. Provide the authority to the students and people to defend their culture and identity.
iii. Pursue the ideas of liberty, justice and freedom for all, regardless ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity.
iv. Maintain unique of unity in the people of Chitral and beyond.
v. Create a democratic mind in the people of Chitral that will always support to a democratic, Islamic, prosper and progressive Pakistan.
vi. Provide a brilliant guidance to the students in different institutions of Pakistan.
vii. Provide a possible financial support for those students who are educationally, physically, socially and financially able to support.
viii. Organize different seminars on different affairs to increase the skill and knowledge of students.
ix. Organize sports events in for entertainment and health purpose of students.
x. Organize culture shows to promote and defend Chitral culture and entertain Chitrali public”.
All the above points are not only in the written form but are also applied practically to solve the problems of Chitralis in educational sector as well as in social sector.
